Does your child’s disturbed sleep make you worry?
You are not alone, as around a third of young children have problems sleeping. Whether it is crying, bad dreams, waking up regularly, or it is just hard for them to drop off, it is likely the whole family will not be as refreshed the next morning as they should be. That is why you’ll be relieved to know there is a safe, gentle and effective way to help your child’s normal sleep patterns return, using Kindival™.
Sleep disturbances are often about the child’s daytime experiences
Factors influencing the quality of your child’s sleep will change as they grow up.
Early on, it can be down to the baby’s body systems developing. However, changing environments, for example moving into their own room to sleep, can also upset sleep patterns.
Toddlers starting to interact with the wider world may find all the daytime activities so stimulating that it takes a long time to settle. Family or school life can influence their dreams or cause restlessness while asleep.
Actually going to bed can be a problem too, as young children often want to stay up with the rest of the family.
If you have any concerns, discuss them with a health professional, but there are some simple steps you can try as bedtime approaches.
A calming evening routine which avoids stimulating activities and cuts out caffeine drinks will help put your child in the right frame of mind. Using a safe and natural homeopathic medicine like Kindival® can help too.

- Establish calming “bedtime routines” (e.g. reading a book or talking about the day) in infants and children
- Avoid games, computer and IPad use, that can cause too much excitement, in the evening
- Adjust daytime napping to the child’s age and developmental needs as too much sleep during daytime will affect sleepiness and sleep duration at night
